A 0–100 score indicating how well an AI response is supported by verifiable sources. Higher grounding confidence means the AI's citation is backed by evidence from the cited source. Measured by claim-support alignment in model probe responses.

**Example:** An AI response citing Brand X's documentation with a grounding confidence of 87 means 87% of the claims in the AI's response are directly supported by content found on Brand X's website.
