# Editing with the SEO Editor

On this page

## Editor Overview

Topicker's SEO editor is a rich-text editor with real-time GEO scoring built in. As you write or edit, the sidebar displays your current GEO score across all nine dimensions, updating live with every change. The editor supports full formatting: headings, bold, italic, lists, links, images, and code blocks.

## Real-Time GEO Scoring

The scoring panel on the right side of the editor shows your current score for each of the nine GEO dimensions. As you add definition blocks, the Definition Coverage score updates. As you add named entities, the Entity Density score recalculates. This immediate feedback loop helps you optimise content while writing rather than auditing after the fact.

## The Suggestions Panel

Below the scoring panel, the editor provides specific suggestions: 'Add a definition for \[term\]', 'This paragraph is too long for extraction — consider splitting', 'Entity density is below target in section 3'. Each suggestion links directly to the relevant section in your article so you can address issues quickly.

## Keyboard Shortcuts

The editor supports standard keyboard shortcuts plus GEO-specific ones: Ctrl+Shift+D to insert a definition block template, Ctrl+Shift+F to insert an FAQ section, Ctrl+Shift+E to view entity density for the current selection. Use Ctrl+S to save your progress — articles auto-save every 30 seconds as well.
