# Customizing Blueprints

On this page

## Editing the Structure

Every blueprint section can be edited before generating content. You can add, remove, or reorder H2/H3 headings, adjust the focus of individual sections, and add custom guidance notes for writers. Changes to the structure automatically update the projected GEO score so you can see the impact in real-time.

## Adjusting Keywords

The default keywords are selected based on delta scoring, but you can override them. Add industry-specific terms, branded keywords, or long-tail variations. The blueprint will recalculate entity requirements and structural guidance based on your keyword changes to ensure the content remains optimised.

## Customizing Entities

You can add required entities (specific tools, companies, or concepts you want mentioned) or exclude entities that aren't relevant. The entity density target adjusts automatically. This is particularly useful when writing about a specific niche where generic entity suggestions might not be appropriate.

## Saving as Templates

Customised blueprints can be saved as templates for reuse. This is valuable for content teams that produce similar types of articles regularly — product reviews, comparison guides, how-to tutorials. Templates preserve your structural preferences, entity requirements, and GEO targets for consistent quality across all content.
