# Content Velocity Planning

On this page

## What Is Content Velocity?

Content velocity is the rate at which you publish optimised content to build topical authority. Topicker's Content Velocity Planner generates a phased 3-month publishing roadmap designed to systematically build your GEO authority. The plan breaks into three monthly phases: Foundation, Expansion, and Authority.

## Month 1: Foundation

The Foundation phase focuses on filling critical content gaps in your highest-priority topic clusters. Target articles are selected based on citation potential and competitive gaps. The expected outcome is a baseline of entity-rich, structurally optimised content that establishes initial topical authority.

## Month 2: Expansion

The Expansion phase builds on your Foundation content by covering additional subtopics and increasing entity density across your content corpus. Target articles expand into adjacent topic areas where you have existing authority but need broader coverage. The expected outcome is measurable improvement in cluster coverage scores.

## Month 3: Authority

The Authority phase focuses on depth and differentiation — creating comprehensive, authoritative content that competitors can't easily replicate. Target articles address complex, high-value topics with deep entity integration. The expected outcome is significant improvement in GEO scores and increased AI citation probability.
